Skills: Students will be able to * structure, model, calculate, evaluate and optimize processes in logistic and production according to various aspects, * apply common instruments for the calculation of logistical structures/key figures and know the procedures on a technical and mathematical level and their connections. The students have the professional ability to * change the practical situation concerning logistics and production based on their knowledge gained, * assure an optimal economic performance in the value-added chain. ### Lehrinhalte 1. Introduction to logistics and production (basic concepts, structures, environment) 2. Factors of production and functions (input/output models, context and mathematical methods) 3. Production planning and control (CIM model, strategic and operational tools) 4. Quality management and control (concepts, methods and management/certification systems) 5. Production systems (organization, repeating types, re-engineering, Kaizen/KVP) business games (haptic learning elements) are used, in which a given logistics/production situation is to be optimized via games. ### Literatur Learning materials are provided via an online platform and; 1.
